Qualifications for Provincials

The following are the coaching requirements set out by Softball Saskatchewan and Softball Canada:
 
*All Coaches and Managers listed on the Provincial Registration Form must have their Respect in Sport for Activity Leaders
*All Provincial Rosters must have at least 1 coach of the same gender as the category the team is registering in.
 
*For teams registering in Provincial Championship categories that DO NOT lead to a Western or Canadian Championships (U11 boys/girls, U13 B boys, U13 A & B girls, U15 B girls, U17 B girls, U19 B girls, men’s and women’s C).
Must have a minimum of one (1) coach on the Provincial Roster who is CSOP TRAINED (in person clinic), MED online and be on the bench at the championship.
 
*For MINOR teams registering in Provincial Championship categories that lead to a Western Canadian (All Male Open divisions, U15 AW girls, U17 AW girls, U19 AW girls).
Must have a minimum of one (1) coach who is Comp. Intro CERTIFIED and have MED online on the bench at the championship.
 
*For ALL teams registering in Provincial Championship categories that lead to a Canadian Championship (U15, U17 and U19 AA Girls and U15, U17, U20 Male Open)
The Head Coach must be identified on the Provincial roster and must be Comp. Intro CERTIFIED, have MED online and who is in attendance at all games.
Any assistant coach who wishes to be on-field and in the coaches box must be Comp. Intro TRAINED and have MED online.
